An introduction to clicker training for dogs and owners who have a background in traditional training. You've heard about clicker training, and want to try it, but he's already trained? It is NOT necessary to start your dog's training all over. A dog with any amount of prior training can make the switch to clicker training-and love it! Dogs don't forget what they already know, and you won't have to re-train any behaviors you're satisfied with. This individually structured, introductory program covers the fundamentals of clicker training for both the dog and the handler and also adds to the proficiency of the dog's earlier training. The handler learns new exercises and how to work on improving responsiveness to already-learned behaviors. A must for anyone who wants to switch from previous traditional classes to our advanced level classes. |
