Cooperative Care

Cooperative Care is designed to acclimate dogs to stress-free handling for grooming, vet visits, and home care.  If your dog has had previous negative experiences, this class can help desensitize and reduce your dog’s stress while being handled, groomed, and examined.  Behaviors include:

• Grooming table behavior
• Accepting a person in a white medical coat
• Husbandry
  •     Nails
  •     Ears
  •     Brushing
  •     Desensitization for fear and previous negative experiences

Bring plenty of treats and a hungry dog.
