Honors Classes

You love your dog, and you love training.  You especially love the relationship and teamwork you share.  If this is you, our Honors Classes are for you to earn titles and participate in competitive events.

  • Canine Good Citizen (CGC) 1 & 2 (4 weeks each) CGC-1 focuses on the foundation for the ten skills that create a Canine Good Citizen, instilling confidence and good manners both in and out of your home.  CGC-2 deepens the bond to become a fully-connected team.

High School

Do you want your dog to stay engaged with you in stimulating environments?

High School continues your training with previous behaviors while working on your dog’s responsiveness.

Learn how to handle challenging environments and distractions to help your dog generalize their training.

Over four weeks, this course will  give you the skills to make your dog a well mannered member of the family and the knowledge to help them reach their potential.

This course will work on the foundation behaviors while focusing on

  • Distractions -teaching your dog to focus around new and interesting objects or activities
  • Duration -learning how to get your dog to perform for an extended period or different periods of time.
  • Distance– getting your dog to respond from various distances

Middle School

Are you ready to further your training skills?

Middle School builds upon your Elementary skills while continuing to strengthen your training relationship.

Over four weeks, this intermediate  training course, will continue to work with the fundamental skills from Elementary School

  • Loose Leash Walking
  • Polite Greeting
  • Recalls
  • Settle

As well as  introducing new behaviors and skills:

  • Stay
  • Leave it.
  • Distraction training
  • Hand Signals
  • And more!

Graduates will have the skills to train around a variety of distractions while keeping your dog engaged and learning.

Elementary School

Do you wish your puppy or adult dog had better manners? Are you struggling with basic training like coming when called, walking politely on a leash, and staying calmly on a mat?

Our Elementary School class is the perfect start!

Over four weeks, this beginner training course will lay the foundation for good behavior.
With positive methods, we cover:

  • Coming when called – the most important skill for any dog
  • Greeting people politely
  • Loose leash walking
  • Settling calmly on a mat
  • And more!

Not only will graduates have the tools to continue reinforcing these important behaviors at home, they will also be ready for the next level of training, Middle School.
