All Dogs Academy for Professional Groomers is a 200 hour, hands-on program that teaches gentle handling techniques, proper equipment use and safety, trimming, bathing, customer communication and interaction, and all the other elements to become a skilled professional dog groomer.
Our students practice on their own, staffs’, and customers’ dogs. They are supervised 100% of the time by their instructors as they learn grooming with real dogs.
We also rely on our customers to help us provide a variety of breeds, sizes, coat types and styles for our students to practice and learn from. The fee for student grooming of any dog of any size and coat type is just $40.00.
We run our Academy several times a year. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity to both have your dog groomed at a reduced rate and to help future groomers learn, email info@alldogsgym.com with the subject line: “Student Grooming.” We will reach out to you when we have a course running to learn more about your dog, to assess if your dog would be appropriate for our students to groom, and to schedule an appointment.
